1.    Malware

Malware is a program that particularly harms the host system of the device. It can also consist of other kinds of software like worms, Trojan horses and spyware, etc. Highly developed malware like ransomware is used to commit financial scams and extort money from computer users. Malware is most damaging to mobile devices and PCs. There are different kinds of malware like viruses, adware, worms, and ransomware, etc.

It is a reality that free antivirus programs are not much impressive as compared to paid antivirus programs.

2.    Virus

The virus itself is a particular kind of malware. It is a piece of infectious code that damages other programs on the host system and spreads itself on the go. Virus is generally familiar to spread when the program is shared between computer systems. It acts more similar to a parasite. Some viruses can harm your computer devices by removing the files, reformatting the hard drive and damaging other programs. Some of them simply duplicate themselves flood a network with traffic, making it not possible to make any internet activity.

All computer viruses are not destructive. However, most of them do things that are malicious like deleting data. Some viruses cause destruction as soon as their code is implemented. Some others remain unsafe until a particular event starts the program, causing their code to run in the device.

Viruses spread when the program or documents to which they are attached are transferred from one system to another via networks, disks, file sharing methods, etc. A number of viruses use dissimilar stealth policies to avoid identifying them with antivirus programs. There are a lot of kinds of viruses. Some kinds of viruses are Multipartite Virus, Boot Sector Virus, Polymorphic Virus, Direct Action Virus, and Overwrite Virus, etc.

3.    Spyware

Spyware is also a type of malware that is familiar to access your device without your permission or knowledge and it can be very harmful for your device. It is an unwanted program that infiltrates your device. Hackers use it for several purposes. It can also steal your personal and internet usage data.

In general, the purpose of the malware is to track and put up for sale your Internet usage data. It can also bank account information and capture your credit card, and steal your own identity. It observes your internet activity and keeps track of your password and login information and steals your personal and precious information. Spyware further has four types: tracking cookies, Trojans, adware and system monitors.
